Mary Z began this tune more than a year ago when a banjo fan left his Goldtone ML-1 baritone at her little log cabin in Cashiers, NC for 3 weeks.
She fell in love with the baritone banjo & called Wayne Rogers @ Goldtone and ordered a baritone of her own. (thank you Wayne) . The song that fell from the loaned banjo started out as "Got No Use For This Old Banjo." But over the next year--the friendship with the fan fell apart & the song evolved into a quite different song called "Got No Use For A Banjo Man, "
